Faces and Flowers

This was the first time I set up a backdrop for taking photos of my daughter, Annalise. I had just been snapping photos wherever she was. I am just now getting into photography (she is a wonderful muse!) and took this with a point and shoot. I am saving up for an SLR!

Mother's Day

Yesterday was my first Mother's Day! Last year, I knew I was pregnant but hadn't announced it yet. I had a previous miscarriage and was afraid to tell anyone before 12 weeks. I remember the excitement and hope that I had in my heart for the little life growing inside me. Now, a year later, I know what it is to be a Mother. It has changed me and changed my life. I feel like I was meant to do this and I feel complete now that I have Annalise in my life. It makes my heart so full to think of her, kiss her, gaze into her eyes...a fullness I didn't know was possible.
